Chelsea Boot

The Chelsea boot is a tight fitting, heeled, ankle-high boot that piqued fashion consciousness in the early 1960's. They were most likely originally worn as riding boots far before then. Its popularity is often attributed in part to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, who primarily wore Chelsea-style boots with Cuban-heels. They were also considered an element of the 60s mod scene.
The most notable feature of the Chelsea boot is its elastic siding, running from the heel to the top of the shoe. Chelsea boots also go by the name of "dealer boots".
