Co-adaptation

In Biology, co-adaptation, or coadaptation refers to the mutual adaptation of:

• Species: see mutualism, symbiosis
• organs: see the evolution of the eye.
• Genes or gene complexes: see Linkage disequilibrium, epistasis

Co-adaptation may be indicative of co-evolution.
