Cubic centimetre
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A cubic centimetre (symbol cm3 or, unofficially, cc) is a commonly used unit of volume extending the derived SI-unit cubic metre and corresponds to a cubed box measuring 1 cm x 1 cm x 1 cm. One cubic centimetre corresponds to a volume of <math>\frac{1}{1,000,000}</math> of a cubic metre, or <math>\frac{1}{1,000}</math> of a litre; therefore, 1 cm3 = 1 ml.
