Deal can refer to:

  • a situation, as in "what's the deal with the Johnson account ?".
  • a problem, as in "what's your deal ?" and in very modern usage, as a standalone hard-nosed instruction: "Deal!" meaning that the listener must accept and work through whatever issue has just been identified.
  • a Deal, or File, an opportunity to complete a real estate transaction, or Close a Deal.
  • Deal, a family name taken from Deal, Kent England. The last name was adopted after former slaves who did not hold a name adopted the name of the town in which they resided.
  • while playing card games, the act of distributing the cards from the deck to the players of the game.
