Hanaizumi (花泉町; -machi) was a town located in Nishiiwai District, Iwate, Japan. On September 20, 2005 the town merged with three towns and two villages from Higashiiwai District into the expanded city of Ichinoseki and no longer exists as an independent municipality.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 15,610 and a density of 123.08 persons per km². The total area was 126.83 km².
