A jean skirt is a skirt that is made of denim. It can be of any length or style, including tight-fitting skirts that are styled like typical five-pocket jeans, or like numerous other skirts.

The latest fad among teens is to wear extremely short denim skirts with boots and sometimes socks.

Popularity of the garment varies from time to time, but most are worn by young or middle-aged women or women not allowed to wear pants in accordance with their religious beliefs.
