Jon boats are aluminum or wood flat-bottomed boats designed for fishing purposes with 1 to 3 bench seats. Jon boats typically have a transom onto which an outboard motor can be mounted. They are simple, easy to maintain, and inexpensive with many options to upgrade.They are quite simple to build.
