Health professionals and patients use the website for its up-to-date, authoritative information. MedlinePlus is updated daily.
MedlinePlus provides:

- interactive health tutorials
- lists of hospitals and physicians
- a medical encyclopedia (adam.com Health Illustrated Encyclopedia)
