A peignoir is a long nightgown for women usually sheer and made of chiffon. It is repeatedly mentioned in the novel The Awakening, by Kate Chopin, somewhat like a show of when she is awakening. Peignoir is also notably featured in the opening stanza of the poem Sunday Morning by Wallace Stevens. Peignoirs are usually sold with matching panties but are often worn with no underwear.bg:Пеньоар sv:Peignoir
