Racing Post
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Racing Post is a British daily horse racing, greyhound racing and sports betting newspaper. It is owned by Sheikh Mohammed and published under a 10 year lease by Trinity Mirror. After purchasing the lease (for a single pound), in 1998 the much older Trinty Mirror paper the Sporting Life was closed, despite a plan for the Sporting Life to switch to sports betting coverage.
The Racing Post was first published in April 1986.
An annual Racing Post Chase is held at Kempton Park.
The Soccerbase website is also run under the Racing Post brand.
