Signet can refer to many different things:
- A signet is a seal used to authenticate a document, typically by leaving an impression in sealing wax.
- A signet ring is a ring with a seal set into it.
- The Writers to the Signet, a legal society of solicitors in Scotland, who were previously authorised to use the private seal of the King of Scotland.
- A signet is also often used to refer to an immature swan, although the correct spelling is cygnet, from the Latin cygnus.
- SigneT (with a capitalized T) is a class of racing dinghy, designed in 1961 by Ian Proctor.
- Signet is also a brand of high-end pickup systems (cartridge and stylus) for phonographs and much later speakers.
- Signet Books is an imprint of New American Library.
- Signet is a publication produced by the fraternity Phi Sigma Kappa published 4 times a year by and for members (although also available to the public).
