Valene Clements Ewing Ewing Gibson Waleska Ewing, also known as "Val ", was a character in the American television series Knots Landing and also in the television series Dallas, played by Joan Van Ark.

"Val" appeared on Dallas from 1978-1981 as a recurring character. "Val" appeared on Knots Landing from 1979-1992, 1993 as one of the lead characters.
