Whip scorpion

There are three orders of whip scorpions in the class Arachnida:

• Amblypygi - tailless whip scorpions
• Palpigradi - micro whip scorpions (less than 3 mm)
• Uropygi - whip scorpions

In addition, members of the Schizomida are also sometimes called "micro whip scorpions".
